About

I'm a retired nursing professor and state child care health consultant that has traveled the world for work and for pleasure. I have over 45 years of long term and short travel experience from a uniquely African American perspective. During my career as a public health nurse, I lived for a year in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I've taken nursing students to Ghana, West Africa for a clinical experience and lectured at a university in the Czech Republic. I've also assisted with building churches and infirmaries in a small villages in Uganda, East Africa and Mexico. I've taken many high end luxury trips such as spending a month in Provence, France while enjoying a Wine River Cruise through Bordeaux. I've relaxed while gazing at a beautiful sunset in Santorini, Greece and participated in lively pub music in Ireland. I've done it all and can help you navigate safe spaces throughout the world.

I am a Black woman who has mostly traveled solo. As a global traveler, I have experienced the cultures of many people; even in places that were not necessarily designed for people like me. In my travels I have discovered that the African diaspora reaches far and wide and is very diverse.

As an independent travel agent, I am dedicated to planningĀ  travel experiences with an emphasis on the cultures across the African Diaspora. If you are interested in fun and unique travel, I'm here to make it happen!
